NDIS
Unstuck OT works with clients who have plan-managed or self-managed NDIS plans
Rate: $193.99 per hour (per current NDIS Pricing Arrangements and Price Limits 2025-26)
Billed pro-rata in 6-minute increments
Medicare
Session fee: $200 for a 50-minute appointment
Chronic Disease Management Plan (CDMP): Medicare rebate of $61.80 per session (up to 5 allied health appointments per calendar year). A referral from your GP is required.
Special MBS items for children/young people under 25 with complex neurodevelopmental conditions (e.g., autism):
82010: OT assessment (usually longer, helps with diagnosis or specialist treatment plan)
82025: OT treatment sessions (after a specialist-led treatment plan is in place)
Rebates are $87.25 per session; limits apply (8 assessment sessions and 20 treatment sessions across a child’s lifetime)
Referrals from eligible medical practitioners (paediatrician or psychiatrist) are required
After full payment is received, the Medicare rebate can be processed directly, with funds usually deposited overnight to a bank account registered with Medicare.
Private Health Insurance (Extras)
Session fee: $200 for a 50-minute appointment
A receipt is provided for claiming any available rebate through private health insurance policies that include occupational therapy (extras).
Rebates vary depending on individual policies.
Job Access/Employment Assistance Fund
Session fee: $210.34 for a 50‑minute appointment (including GST)
Sessions need prior approval from JobAccess under the Employment Assistance Fund (EAF) before reimbursement can be processed. JobAccess reimburses costs after funding approval and attendance.
A receipt is provided so reimbursement can be claimed directly from JobAccess once approval has been granted and the appointment has taken place
Private Paying
Session fee: $200 for a 50-minute appointment
Supervision
Session fee: $220 (including GST) for a 50-minute appointment
Sensory-Focused Environmental OT Assessment - Private
This service costs $500 total for one-room sensory assessment with written recommendations and visual representations. Payment is split into two stages:
Consultation Fee ($200): payable before your online session. Secures your booking and covers preparation and the 1-hour consultation.
Report Fee ($300): payable before delivery of the written report and visual representations.
No Medicare or private health insurance rebates are available for this service.
Sensory-Focused Environmental OT Implementation - Private
Session fee: $200 per 50 minute appointment
Medicare and private health insurance rebates may be available.
